Adigwe Charges Ondo PDP Not To Rest On their Oars As Guber Election Draws Closer

The Deputy National Organizing Secretary of the People's Democratic Party, PDP and former House of Representatives member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Hon. Pascal Nwaoranine Adigwe has called on the PDP in Ondo State to brace up and not rest on its oars as the State Gubernatorial election draws near.

The political strategist, in a statement during the post mortem critique of PDP outing and strategy in Edo, affirmed that the advice is very crucial for the party in the State in order not to suffer the fate of open barefaced rigging as was done with brazen impunity in Edo State by the APC.

Adigwe said what happened in Edo State was unbelievable, terrible and worrisome trend which has further deepen Democratic dictatorship in Nigeria; thereby advising that the earlier proper and proactive planning, engagement of critical stakeholders,  elections and vote winners, party faithfuls and other supporters, traditional institutions, market place influencers and sealing up of loopholes for rigging is done, the better for the PDP and the people of Ondo State and Nigeria at large who no doubt are depending on PDP to arrest and correct this malady that has befallen the country.

He further stated that all the milestones achieved by our past leaders and parliament in developing a credible election that would elicit trust in democracy are being eroded by this brazen Go-to-hell, Go-to court attitude.

He also enjoined the National organs of the party to show critical and genuine support to our candidate.

He said, "whatever happens, we will continue to cooperate and fight harder to continue to win elections until the end of this political evil and wickedness comes".
