The Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt , Hon. Emomotimi Guwor has commended media practitioners in the state for being a bridge between the government and the people.
The Speaker, Hon.Guwor made this known during a Courtesy paid him by members of the Indigenous Correspondence Chapel (ICC)of the Delta State Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in his office at Asaba.
He opened that the activities in reporting the proceedings of the house has added great color to the House of Assembly and highlighted that the House will always carry them as partners in progress in carrying out their duties.
Speaking earlier on the Chairman of the Indigenous Correspondence Chapel of the Delta State NUJ, Comrade Ken Orusi Congratulated the Speaker and the members of the Delta State House of Assembly for their one year in office.
Comrade Orusi advised the House on the need for Effective Legislative Compliance and monitoring of Laws passed for the benefit of the public.
The brief visit was witnessed by the Deputy, House of Assembly, Hon. Arthur Akpowowo and other Principal Officers of the House.
