ASABA – The Delta State Chapter of the Office of the National Grassroots Mobilization for President 2027 has officially thrown its weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 presidential election, reaffirming its confidence in his leadership and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The endorsement was unanimously adopted during the chapter's State Executive Meeting held in Asaba, where members also passed a vote of confidence on the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, describing him as one of Nigeria's best-performing governors.
According to the chapter, Governor Oborevwori has continued to demonstrate visionary leadership through impactful governance, people-oriented policies, and a steadfast commitment to the development of Delta State.
The group noted that his achievements have earned him widespread admiration and justified the unanimous endorsement by the leadership.
Speaking on the resolutions reached at the meeting, the chapter stated that its endorsement of President Tinubu reflects a firm belief that continuity in leadership remains vital to consolidating ongoing reforms, strengthening national unity, expanding economic opportunities, and sustaining the country's development.
The group appealed to Nigerians across political, ethnic, and religious divides to remain hopeful and united in supporting leaders committed to peace, progress, and national growth. It stressed that the nation's future can only be secured through collective responsibility, patriotism, and active citizen participation.
"We believe Nigeria's greatness lies in the shared commitment of its people to support visionary leadership that places the nation's interest above every other consideration. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous, and more united Nigeria," the chapter said.
The statement was jointly endorsed by the State Coordinator, Hon. Gift Otowa, and the South South Coordinator, Comr. Amb. Emmanuel Chukwuemeke, who reiterated the group's commitment to grassroots mobilization in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.
