FCT CP Strengthens Security Ties, Visits Guards Brigade, Naval Base, NAF Camp & NSCDC Command

ABUJA, 23 October 2025:

The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, on 22nd October 2025, paid courtesy visits to the heads of key sister security agencies in Abuja as part of his ongoing familiarization and strategic engagement tour.

Among those visited were the Commander Guards Brigade, Brig. Gen. Adebisi Onasanya; Commander Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; Commander 053 NAF Camp, Group Capt. H.S. Ibrahim; and the Commandant NSCDC FCT Command, Dr. Olusola Odumosu.

The visits were aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration, intelligence sharing, and joint operational strategies to enhance the overall security architecture of the Federal Capital Territory.

During the meetings, CP Dantawaye emphasized that effective policing and national security depend on a united front among security stakeholders. 

He commended the continuous cooperation among agencies and called for sustained synergy in addressing emerging security threats across the Territory.

Each of the commanders reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police Force and pledged to maintain joint efforts in ensuring peace, safety, and stability within the nation’s capital.

The series of visits concluded with renewed pledges of collaboration, coordination, and mutual respect among the security formations in Abuja.
