CP Dantawaye Intensifies FCT Border Security

The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc, on Wednesday, 29th October 2025, embarked on an operational assessment tour of Bwari, Garam, and other border communities linking Kaduna and Niger States.

The visit was aimed at improving police visibility, reviewing deployment strategies, and enhancing intelligence gathering to prevent cross-border crimes in the Federal Capital Territory.

The CP, alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations and heads of tactical units, inspected key security formations including the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, and multiple checkpoints within the area.

During the visit, CP Dantawaye also paid courtesy calls on the Emir of Bwari and the Etsu Bwaya, where he emphasized the importance of community partnership. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to proactive policing and urged residents to remain alert and provide credible information to the Police.

The Command continues to prioritize intelligence-led operations and rapid response mechanisms across the Territory.
