He said, Ugboba is a hospitable community disposed to loving strangers with no barriers, maintaining that they do such in anticipation that wherever their sons and daughters are found to be residing, such love and hospitality would also be extended to them.
Chief Ofili therefore, urged the community people to continue to support and cooperate with the king so he would be motivated towards activating his rich contact and ideas for the progressive development of Ugboba Kingdom.
In the same vein, the President General (PG) of Ugboba Development Union, Mr. Ike Nnabuife who was away on vacation, appreciated the Ugboba Development Union, USA, the Ugboba Development Union, Asaba, the Ugboba Development Union, Issele-Uku and all well meaning sons and daughters of the community for their unalloyed loyalty and support to the king in carrying out his annual traditional obligations.
Mr. Ike Nnabuife in a special acknowledgement, appreciated Mosra Energy Limited for its support to Obi Ezedinbu Nkebakwu's new yam festival, maintaining that the company extended its corporate social responsibility in observance of the community's cultural heritage and peace initiatives.
The ebullient and hardworking PG, however, in appreciating the three quarters of Ugboba, also advised them to endeavour to always show reverence, loyalty and support to the Obi, who is the symbol of authority, and that is saddled with the responsibility to oversee development in the community.
Meanwhile, as usual, it was a bountiful harvest this season, just as the evidence of the large tubers of yam that some of the community people had brought to pay homage to the king had proven.
In like manner, the palace exhibited the fruitfulness of the community in terms of the quality of production of their crops and the harvest of peace, just as there were plenty to eat, drink and make merry in convivial atmosphere.
