The Delta State government has approved the appointment of HRM Prof Epiphany Azinge as Azagba of Asaba kingdom and Dr Craig N. Oputa of Aboh kindgom as traditional rulers of both kingdoms domiciled in Delta North Senatorial District.
This is part of the resolutions from the just concluded 7th meeting of the state executive council (SEC) by the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led administration held today in Asaba at the state government house.
Briefing Journalists was the Hon commissioner for information Hon Ifeanyi Osuoza, who hinted that "in its plan towards second year in office, SEC has urged all ministry and agency heads to ensure full supervision and acceleration of jobs in their jurisdiction with emphasis on "no room for shady jobs."
Excos equally approved the construction of Owa nta road, the construction of access road to Nigerian maritime university, construction and reconstruction of opete road, rehabilitation of roads in Ughelli North Local Government, some streets in asaba, reconstruction of failed asaba asei / uzere road amongst others.
