The 22-year-old masquerader has been identified as one Ugwuoke Ebube, of Enugu Road, Nsukka.
According to the Enugu State Command Police Public Relations Officer DSP Daniel Ndukwe, May 22nd, 2024, "the suspect was arrested on May 12, 2024 after assaulting the victim (name withheld).
He said the suspect was arraigned in the Nsukka Magistrate Court of Enugu State, but was granted bail by the court.
Ugwuoke was part of a group of masqueraders that assaulted a nurse, Miss Blessing Ogbonna, as captured in a viral video in April 2024.
