Rex Biose Defects to NDC with Massive Support Base Ahead of 2027

A frontline aspirant for the Delta North Senatorial District seat, Rex Biose, has officially defected from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside a large number of supporters drawn from the nine local government areas of Delta North.

Biose, who formally resigned his membership of the ADC before April 20, 2026, said his decision to join the NDC was driven by his conviction that the party provides a stronger platform for the pursuit of his political aspirations and broader democratic ideals.

Widely regarded as a formidable political figure in Delta North, Biose has continued to gain visibility and influence within the Delta State political landscape through his grassroots engagements and growing support base.

Addressing supporters during a recent gathering, Biose expressed confidence in his political movement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“We are fully prepared for the 2027 political contest and confident of victory. There is no doubt about what we can achieve, especially with the grace of God and the strength of the Obidient movement,” he said.

He acknowledged that challenges may arise on the political journey but maintained that his team remains focused and determined to bring about meaningful change.

“There may be obstacles along the way, but we are resolute and committed to changing the narrative within our political space. God is with us, and there is no reason to fear. The mission to transform Nigeria and redefine leadership across all levels is one we are fully committed to,” Biose stated.
