The young and actively endowed Ebube Gabriel Nwajei of Issele-Azagba, ward 5, who has declared his intention to contest the Aniocha North Constituency Seat for the Delta State House of Assembly, has received endorsements from leaders across the local government area.
In separate interviews from some leaders, they said that Nwajei represents the candidate of unity' that they have been fighting for, stating that "This is our own".
A stalwart and former APC chairman, Sir Stephen Nwadiaju praised the courage of Nwajei to take up the challenge to contest the APC primary election for the State House of Assembly.
According to him, Nwajei had been in the struggle to unite the party APC members and to change the narrative through qualitative leadership.
For Hon. Tobechukwu Ukwamedua, a former Vice Chairman of Aniocha North Local Government, the Issele-Azagba, ward 5 people have decided to front an aspirant for the primary election, hoping for the best to come out of the contest.
"Gabriel Nwajei is eminently qualified and has not been enmeshed in any controversy regarding political deceit, manipulation and shortchanging of his people.
Speaking also was a renowned grassroots politician from Ward 1 Obior, Mr. Felix Eke who commended Nwajei for sustaining APC in Aniocha North before the eventual defection of members from other political parties.
"He was the one paying our secretariat rent and supporting members to keep faith in the party. People like him should be rewarded for the sake of posterity", Eke advised.
Others like Hon. Ikechukwu Augustine Ijei and Hon. Peter Okonkwo equally threw their weights behind the aspiration of Gabriel Ebube Nwajei, declaring him the chosen one from Issele-Azagba.
