By Patrick Ochei

The Labour Party has officially screened and cleared Rex Biose to contest for the Delta North Senatorial Seat, signaling a major step in the party’s preparations ahead of the forthcoming electoral process.

The screening exercise, conducted by the party’s national screening committee, was described as transparent and in line with the constitutional guidelines of the Labour Party and the Electoral Act. Rex Biose emerged successfully after satisfying all requirements and presenting the necessary credentials before the panel.

Speaking shortly after the exercise, Biose expressed gratitude to the leadership of the party for what he described as a fair and credible process. He reaffirmed his commitment to offering purposeful representation to the people of Delta North if elected into office.

According to him, the district deserves quality leadership focused on youth empowerment, infrastructural development, economic growth, improved education, and effective legislative representation that reflects the aspirations of the people.

He further assured party faithful and supporters across the senatorial district that his ambition is rooted in service, inclusiveness, and the desire to attract meaningful development to the area.

Party stakeholders and supporters who attended the screening exercise commended the peaceful conduct of the process and expressed confidence in Biose’s capacity to fly the party’s flag successfully.

Political observers believe the clearance of Rex Biose may further strengthen the Labour Party’s presence in Delta North, especially as political activities continue to gather momentum across Delta State.

With his successful screening and clearance, attention now shifts to the next phase of political engagement as the Labour Party intensifies consultations and mobilization efforts ahead of the elections.
