The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Mr. Sunday Kotor, Senior Special Assistant on Protocol to the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
Mr. Kotor was a dedicated public servant and a loyal aide whose commitment to duty and professionalism stood him out in the service of Delta State Government.
He was widely admired for his exceptional skill as a Master of Ceremony, bringing life, elegance and clarity to public events with remarkable eloquence and composure.
Beyond his official responsibilities, Mr. Kotor built warm relationships across the media and public service community. His humility, energy, and passion for excellence earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, journalists and public officials alike.
His untimely passing is a painful loss not only to the Government of Delta State but also to the media community and the many individuals whose lives he touched through his work and personality.
The NUJ Delta State Council extends its heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Government and people of Delta State, the immediate family of the Late Mr. Sunday Kotor, and all who mourn his departure.
We pray that Almighty God grants his family, friends, and associates the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and that his spirit finds eternal rest. Amen!
