Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle involving four commissioners, with immediate effect.
According to a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Eze Emu, the reshuffle affects the Ministries of Energy, Physical Planning and Urban Renewal, Primary Education, and Secondary Education.
Under the new arrangement, Engr. Michael Ifeanyi Anoka has been redeployed from the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal to the Ministry of Energy, while Hon. Sunday Tataobuzogwu moves from the Ministry of Energy to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Renewal.
Similarly, Mrs. Rose Ezewu has been transferred from the Ministry of Secondary Education to the Ministry of Primary Education, while Dr. Kingsley Ashibuogwu moves from the Ministry of Primary Education to the Ministry of Secondary Education.
The SSG stated that the redeployment of the commissioners takes effect immediately.
In a related development, Governor Oborevwori has also approved the nomination of three members into the Governing Council of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka.
Those nominated are Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Rt. Hon. Frank Enekorogha, and Chief Charles Ajuyah, SAN.
The statement added that the inauguration of the newly appointed Governing Council members will be announced in due course.
