World Food Production at Risk as Global Water Crisis Escalates

A new reports warns that more than half of the world's food production could be threatened in the next 25 years due to the escalating water crisis, FIVE News Reports. 

Over half of the global population is already facing water scarcity, and fresh water demand is expected to exceed supply by 40% by 2030.

The Global Commission on the Economics of Water has called for urgent action to conserve water resources and protect vital ecosystems.
