According to a press release by the Anambra State command Police Public Relations Officer SP Ikenga Tochukwu on 20th May, 2024, "the Armed men both 25 years of age are Chigozie Echiebu of Urum Village, Awka LGA, and Edwine Emmanuel of Nkerefi Village in Nkanu East of Enugu State. The suspects have provided Police with information on their mode of Operations and names of other gang members which is already aiding the ongoing investigation."
To this end, the CP, directs that the investigation be widened and deepened to bring to book all those connected, and the case should be charged to court on the Conclusion of the investigation.
