Come Nweke was a guest speaker for the ICC MIRROR platform, where he made these statements before members and executives of Indigenous Correspondent Chapel (ICC) one of the 16 chapels of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Delta State Council last week at its Secretariat.
He encouraged journalists to remain diligent and dedicated in fulfilling their constitutional duty of informing and educating the public.
The well bred off and on field journalist expressed gratitude to journalists for their support to the state house of Assembly.
Comr Nweke charged his colleagues of the pen to create opportunities for themselves rather than relying on token gestures from politicians which in turn battles integrity.
