North Korea's Army has announced it will completely shut down all road and rail links to South Korea starting Wednesday, escalating border tensions, FIVE News Reports. 

This follows military exercises by South Korea and the presence of U.S. nuclear assets.

South Korea's defence ministry is in close contact with the United Nations Command regarding the situation.
