He made the remarks during a meeting with his people at Ashama, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State.
Bishop Ilomechine lauded the state governor, Rt honourable Sheriff Oborevwori for his notable achievements in one year in office, describing him as a goal getter.
While saying that Ashama people were peace loving, he urged them to continue to live in peace and unity and be their brothers keeper at all times, adding that they should equally pray for the state governor to enable him achieve his MORE agenda.
Ilomechine said, he decided to unite Ashama Community for Peoples Democratic party (PDP) because party according to him is supreme and PDP is one family.
He called on the people of the area to work assiduously and support PDP at all levels in the up coming Local Government election.
On the chairmanship election, he advised electorates to mobilize and support whoever the party endorse, saying that Ashama kingdom would deliver the candidates of the party at all levels.
He used the medium to advise the youths of Ashama kingdom to be focus, live in the fear of God and shun acts that are capable of truncating their future.
Youths according to him should imbibe the culture of hard work, opining that hard work does not kill but rather it makes one great.
Bishop Ilomechine who also visited the health center at Ashama Community shortly after the meeting, said he would renovate the health center to make it comfortable for residents of the Community .
He lauded the traditional ruler of Ashama kingdom, Obi Solomon Ezechinyelugo11, for his quality leadership that has brought peace and unity to the area.
The traditional ruler of Ashama kingdom, Obi Solomon Ezechinyelugo11, commended Bishop Ilomechine for his developmental projects at Ashama kingdom, especially the electricity project that is currently on going.
He described Ilomechine as an illustrious son that has the interest of the area at heart, praying God to continue to protect and bless him and his family.
Also at the meeting, the vice chairman of Peoples Democratic Party ward 7, Mr Samuel Okwuofu lauded Ilomechine for his role in PDP, saying that he is a faithful party man and a great unifier.
