Anambra CP Writes Parents at Childrens' Day, A Must Read

In celebration of Children's Day today 27th of May, 2024, the Commissioner of Police, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam, urges parents/guardians to be better role models to their children/wards, by creating a deliberate relationship with them as it will help to assess and direct them properly. 

Detailed in a press release by the Anambra state command Police Public Relations Officer SP Ikenga Tochukwu on May 27th, 2024, "the CP made this call as he joined His Excellency, Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR, Governor of Anambra State and Ndi Anambra to celebrate Children's Day on the theme: Enhancing the total wellbeing of the Nigerian Child through quality Education and Skills Development at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

The CP further encourages the good people of Anambra State to sustain the message of peace and make deliberate efforts by standing up against any acts that threaten our national unity and public peace. 

The highlights of the event includes a match pass by School Children and Police schoolchildren, the presentation of gifts to winners of the match pass, a Cutting of cake by the Governor and his wife, and a Cultural display by the school Children, among others.
