MORE Agenda: Pray for my Husband’s Administration, Deaconess Oborevwori Urges Deltans

The wife of the Delta Governor, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori has urged Deltans to continue praying for the administration of her husband, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to enable him to fulfil his vision encapsulated in the MORE Agenda.

Deaconess Oborevwori who is the founder of the You Matter Charity Foundation, made this call when she received a twin delegation of Christian leaders on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Government House, Asaba.
Addressing the delegates of the Christian Women Intercessors For All Nation (CWIFAN) led by the Vision Coordinator, Dr Mrs August Ogbene, Oborevwori emphasized the place of praying women in the society noting that no home can survive the challenges of life without a steadfast praying woman.

She commended the women for standing in the gap for previous administrations in the state and urged them not to relent in her husband's administration, which has various people-oriented programmes. She noted that only through prayers, will these MORE Agenda materialize for the benefit of Deltans.

Welcoming officials of the Pastors’ Forum for Sustainable Development, led by Bishop Jude Akhere, Deaconess Oborevwori appreciated the clergies for their overwhelming support during the election that ushered in her husband as the Governor of Delta State.

She encouraged them to double their prayers now that the Governor has started various projects across the state, stressing that, it is only through the prayers that these projects can be completed for the benefit of the people.

The Governor's wife also sought the Christian leaders' prayers for the successful implementation of her foundation's vision of creating a world where everyone is valued and where every Deltan matters in the affairs of the state.

The Christian leaders described Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori as a true daughter of Zion. They applauded the commitment of the Governor and his wife to the work of God, which is evident within and beyond the state. They prayed for the continuous prosperity of the state and God’s wisdom on the Governor, and the success of the first lady's pet project.
