Indigenous Correspondent Chapel Congratulates New Delta NUJ Executives

The Indigenous Correspondents' Chapel ICC, Asaba, of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta State Council, has Congratulated the newly sworn in executives for their victory in the election held Wednesday, October 18, 2023.

In a congratulatory message signed by its Chairman Comrade Kenneth Orusi and it's Ag. Secretary Comrade Michael Odiah,  "We are indeed happy for the victory of Comrade Churchill Oyowe and all other members of the executives."

"This victory is for all journalists in Delta, and there's an unwavering  hope that the new excos would usher in a more effective, professional and dynamic NUJ that will be respected and pride itself in the midst of its contemporaries."

"We therefore use this medium to formerly congratulate you the State Chairman and your team of exco's for this great feat and call on you to run an all embracing and transparent administration that will bring back dignity, respect and succour to every journalists in the state."

"ICC also appreciates the immediate past executive led by Comrade Michael Ikeogwu and wishes all the past exco's well in their respective endeavors and urge them to join hands with every other Journalist in the state to build the Union."

"We also commend NUJ National, the electoral committee and all observers for allowing transparent process implored all through the elections."
 
"Moving forward, we are positive that this administration will grow from strength to strength and will carry every member along professionally and ethically."
