Agofure was amongst the nine additional nominees that were screened and confirmed by the state Assembly as members of the Delta State Executive Council (SEC).
During the exercise, Hon. Onoriode Aguofure exhibited his expertise, versed experience, competence and preparedness to take up any task while the commissioner designate awaits portfolio assignment.
Speaking shortly after his screening and confirmation, Agofure noted, that he was prepared to pump in fresh ideas that will move the state forward.
He pointed that there were vast potentials in the state that are waiting to be harnessed, adding that he was going to work alongside other members of the council and stakeholders in the state to actualize the MORE agenda of the current administration.
While thanking the Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborewori for nominating and giving him the opportunity to serve in such high capacity as member of the state executive council, he promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed on him by the governor and Deltans.
He commended the governor for his youthful disposition by ensuring that over 70 percent of commissioner nominees were youths, saying they have never had it in such fashion in the state or anywhere else in the country.
