The Traditional Mother of Anioma Nation and media colossus, HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu (Omu Okpanam/Omu Anioma/Nneoha) has congratulated the newly inaugurated Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.
In a press statement signed by her Media Assistant, Comrade Patrick Ochei,Omu Dunkwu noted that God who has made the victory and inauguration of Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor of Delta State possible, will give him the wisdom and wherewithal to pilot the affairs of the State.
She called on all Deltans to rally support for the new Governor to be able to accomplish all that he has set out to accomplish.
She further stated that Delta State deserves sustenance of the peace that has existed for sometime now, in the sense that a peaceful environment can only aid progress and development for the benefit of the vast majority of Deltans.
Omu Anioma equally prayed that God in His Infinite Mercy will help to keep enemies of Delta State far from the new Governor, adding that, those whose innate intentions and desires to deceive the Governor against people oriented policies and programmes, will never succeed.

Omu Anioma recalled with joy that on Friday 14th June, 1999, the Immediate Past Orodje of Okpe Kingdom (of blessed memory), conferred on her, the Chieftaincy Title of Ukereti of Okpe Kingdom, meaning, (The Shining Star of Okpe Kingdom). "Therefore, as an adopted daughter of Okpe Kingdom, she will do everything humanly possible to ensure that the new Governor takes the State to the next positive level."
The Royal Mother once more, congratulated the Governor, the Great people of Okpe Kingdom and Deltans in general for the dawn of a new era that has come to Delta State. She posited that by the Grace of God Almighty and our Great Ancestors, Delta State will witness more in economic growth, infrastructure development and sociopolitical advancement.
